U.K. iPhone Photo Dump #2
Jogger's Life &bull Oct 10, 2011
We officially arrived back home from our fantastic U.K. adventure on Saturday night. While I unpack, clean out my refrigerator (oops), and get an official travel recap posted for you, I thought you'd enjoy another photo dump! After staying overnight in Edinburgh, we… Full Story »

Turkey Meatballs with Zesty Marinara Sauce
Jogger's Life &bull Sep 28, 2011
I'd really like to be able to tell you that I made this recipe for unselfish reasons. That My Gazelle requested turkey meatballs randomly one day, or that he had a hankering for some zesty marinara sauce out of the blue. That would be a lie. He is a simple man, and he has only ever requested two things from me: tacos and pancakes. In… Full Story »

Tuesday Confession
Jogger's Life &bull Sep 27, 2011
And, when the 5 minutes was up, I'd just tell myself the same thing over again. It doesn't really make sense logically, but something about consistently reminding myself that my condition was temporary eased my mind (and kept me from… Full Story »

Help Ashley!
Jogger's Life &bull Sep 15, 2011
Rather than wax poetic today about mall walking and gaining pregnancy weight, I'm going to talk about something a little more important. A fellow blogger, Ashley, had a terrible accident last Friday while cycling. She hit a patch of gravel… Full Story »

Diary of a Mall Walker
Jogger's Life &bull Sep 13, 2011
Last year at this time, I had completed my first triathlon just three short months prior. I was still celebrating my second triathlon finish (as pathetic of a finish as it wasI'll still take it). I was signing up for 1/2 marathons. I had grand dreams of run/walking myself all the way around the… Full Story »

Monday Morning Math Lesson.
Jogger's Life &bull Aug 22, 2011
This latest development is actually the reason for my "blog silence" lately. I have this condition in that unless I can talk to you about exactly what I want to talk about, I can't talk about anything. It's kind of an affliction. Because of all of the problems I've had staying pregnant (which you… Full Story »

What a Pain in My Shin
Jogger's Life &bull Jun 30, 2011
Weeeeeeee! I have been working my butt off to meet a deadline at my big girl job, and I just finished! I always feel so relieved when I finish my "work work" projects. Now I can go on vacation next week with no stress of leaving work behind. I've been "running" according to schedule lately (with a… Full Story »

House Becomes Home
Jogger's Life &bull Jun 27, 2011
I'm excited to report today that I did almost nothing for the entire weekend besides bake cookies and bread pork chops. I made chocolate chip cookies with vanilla pudding (try it, they're amazing), and Parmesan crusted pork chops for dinner yesterday, and My Gazelle was very appreciative. As I've explained more than once, he values home cooked meals more than practically anything else in this universe. This was his last weekend off for a while, and I'll be visiting my family for the entire week of July… Full Story »

Flashback Friday
Jogger's Life &bull Jun 24, 2011
It's been a long time since I resurrected an old post for Flashback Friday, so today I'm pulling out one of my favorites from last June. This is actually one of my favorite posts ever, because it's the recap of my first triathlon! I'll be back on Monday with (hopefully) some very exciting news. I've been trying to keep it under wraps so as not to jinx ourselves. No, we're not pregnantbut it rhymes with "mouse". And it's not the "mouse" that I talked about before. OHdid you check out the new site design and layout? If you're reading me… Full Story »
